Our story began on a warm September evening in 2024, with a first date at the most romantic of restaurants: Pija Palace, an Italian-Indian fusion spot in Silverlake.

Alex had originally planned for us to go to a speakeasy, but it was closed. So we wandered a few blocks and made the best of it. What looked like a backup plan turned into a few hours of great conversation and discovering how much we have in common.

By the end of the night, we knew there was something special there. We were hooked. Within a week, we’d gone on two more dates—and two years later, we’re just as hooked.

Since then, we’ve built a life that feels a little bit like one long adventure. We’ve camped in Joshua Tree, backpacked through the Sierras and Catalina, spent countless days hiking and at the beach with our pup Ser Davos, and somehow, managed to find our *person* in Los Angeles.

We’ve traveled from coast to coast and across the world together, from the Cliffs of Moher to the shores of Mykonos. We’ve been to more concerts than we can count and collected more inside jokes and stories than we could ever list here.

And through it all, our favorite part has been just being with one another for all the big and small moments.

There are still so many adventures ahead of us.
